Travel guide: Singapore Edition 2012

27 Nov

Hey!

I am going to tell you a good place to stay, something to do and a nice place to eat in Singapore. If you need a holiday and don’t know what to do, just listen to me!

For the family:

Stay; I’d recommend Down town east’s Costa Sands Resort down in Pasir Ris. Its a hotel place with a barbeque area down stairs with rooms suiting families with around 2 – 4 people. In every room there’s a T.V, 4 beds, a bathroom, fridge, water boiler and wardrobe. if you go out there’s also a food court, shops and waterpark to keep everyone occupied.

Eat; If you’re after typical Malay food I recommend a Hawker Center, If you like Japanese food you could go to Waraku located at “The Central” near Clarke Quay.

Do; Wild Wild Wet in Downtown East Pasir Ris is fun for the family. With slides for everyone, a big slide for the thrill seeker, The water works slide for the older kids, Ularh – larh for the family, Tiny tots land for the youngsters and the Jacuzzi for the adults. If you’re scared of you’re child drowning, there are colored life jackets indicating sizes. There is super small to sizes for adults. No charge!

For the city slicker:

Stay: The V hotel in Lavender is nice and convenient, you are a station away from a shopping center, The train station is close by + luxury. In the room the beds are nicely set out, everyday they clean your room, there’s soap and shampoo in your bathroom too. You can order room service and there’s a cool TV. On the fourth floor there’s a restaurant, pool and gym to keep you fit, cool and happy.

Eat:  There’s some nice Malay restaurants in Orchard but I love the nice Italian food at Prego’s in City Hall.

Do: Shop! I like Ion in Orchard, they have many shops like Vans, Diaso, Etude House, Zara, and much more!

I hope you like the sound of singapore and see all the amazing things.
